ludwig drum value

how do identify the year of my drum set.?

i bought my drum set from a guy about 4 years ago. at the time he told me it was a 5 piece 1966 Ludwig set (not original snare or Cymbols) at the time i really didnt care what it was because he was hurting for cash and sold me Everything hardware cymbols for 450$. but now that i am considering selling it iwant an accurate value. it seems 1966 ludwig sets sell from 900$ to 2900$ depending on condition etc.

ludwig is good about cataloging snares, but without it, it may be hard to tell. try searching for some sort of serial number on the bass drum and then check ludwig's website. otherwise, take a picture to a music store thats been around for a while.
