Bearded dragons reptiles are omnivores, meaning they eat both vegetables and live food (insects). They eat a mixture of two in his lifetime, however, the proportion of vegetables to insects change as the dragon grows. When you're young, a bearded dragon eat food for most live. This is a very active young dragon and steadily grow in size from 1 to 2 years of his life. As Beardie grows, his power will start to include more vegetables and less food to live.
Supplements
For a proper diet, calcium and vitamin powder is sometimes necessary to apply the meal (usually for dusting supplement your meal with a fine powder). The intake of calcium is very important because bearded dragons can be susceptible to metabolic bone disease, if calcium levels are adequate not met. Supplement powder may be applied to live by placing a few insects in a plastic bag insects and earthquakes.
Vegetables
It is also important to vary the types of plants and insects that you feed your bearded dragon. A varied diet provides a wide range vitamins and nutrients. Some vegetables can be high in certain vitamins, but not in others. Part of vegetable diet should Dragons leafy greens. These include cabbage leaves, mustard greens, kale and dandelion greens. Greens must be provided each day by a dragon in his life. The base of green vegetables should be supplemented by small servings of other vegetables such as beans, peppers and carrots. Any plant material that you feed a bearded dragon should be sufficiently crushed so that the dragon will not choke on it. Nothing to feed Your Beardie should be larger than the space between the eyes.
Insects
Insects should be given to young dragons daily. I just think that as much as the bearded dragon can consume during a meal. Eliminate insects if the dragon does not eat, It may itch on sensitive parts of a sleep Beardie. As an old bearded dragon, eating less and living foods can be reduced to another day. I just think that insects are smaller than the width between the eyes, bearded dragons that food that is too large can cause health problems and stay in their dragons gut. Some common feeding insects are crickets, mealworms, cockroaches and superworms. Freeze dried or otherwise preserved insect food was available in stores for pets, however, life is the best.
